To "SUBMIT A PIC". Simply send an e-mail to submitapic@goldenstateoutdoors.com.
Add your JPEG (.jpg) saved picture as an "Attachment". Or if you would rather
send us a picture via U.S. Postal Service, send it to the following address along with a
self addressed stamped envelope if you would like us to return your photo. Mail to:

Please add the following information.
1. Date of your outdoor adventure.
Actual date is the best like November 21, 2004.
Be more specific than "Fall" or "Summer".
You could even add the time you caught or bagged
your game.
2. Place of your outdoor adventure.
Name of the Lake would be fine. But the Sacramento River
is a few hundred miles long. You could say "along the Sacramento
River near Knights Landing" and that would be fine as well.
3. Species of game in your picture.
Need more than just "a fish". Type of fish would be nice.
Like "Largemouth Bass" or "Smallmouth Bass" not
just "Bass".
Same with a "Deer". Be specific like "Black-Tailed
Deer" or "Mule Deer".
4. What you used to catch or bag your quarry. How deep or how far away
your target was. Brand name and caliber of firearm used. Brand name of Rod,Reel,
line and lure used would be helpful.
"150 yards with a Remington 700 .30-06 topped with a 3x9 power
scope
and a 125 grain Federal Premium bullet."
"Drop-shotting in 50 feet of water with 6 pound test Trilene XL
spooled on a
Shimano spinning reel attached to a 6'6" Lamiglass rod and
using a RoboWorm FX
series 6" AYU Sculpin."
Write a short paragraph and tell a story if you like. Your picture might get
choosen
as "Photo of the Month"! If your picture makes it as "Photo of the
Month" we'll send you a Golden State Outdoors t-shirt of
your choice. Go through those pictures and pick the best. Don't forget to add your mailing
address! Just in case your photo is chosen as "Pic of the Month"! We've got to
know where to send the Golden State Outdoors t-shirt! Let's
show the rest of the country that there IS great hunting and fishing in California.
